The kite festival is located on Southsea Common, Portsmouth. Follow the signs for the seafront.

The nearest railway station is Portsmouth Harbour and the area is serviced by a number of local buses. Portsmouth also has a Park and Ride service which currently goes to Portsmouth Harbour. Over the kite festival weekend, park and ride PR3 Southsea service buses will run every 15 minutes. The first bus leaves from the park and ride site, just off junction 1 of the M275, at 9.35am to Clarence Pier. The last bus returns from Clarence Pier at 7.32pm. Public car parking is available on roads around the common and, usually during the event on the common (normal fees apply).
