The date for 2017 is August 12th & 13th on Southsea Common, Southsea, Hampshire between 10am and 5pm.
The festival will have a full arena programme with a free children’s kite making workshop on site during the two days.

Public car parking is available on roads around the common and sometimes on the common (payable).
How to get there: The kite festival is located on Southsea Common, Portsmouth. Follow the signs for the seafront. The nearest railway station is Portsmouth Harbour and the area is serviced by a number of local buses.
You can also use the Solent Go travel card to get about and purchase in advance.

There is also the Portsmouth Park and Ride - but unfortunately it no longer runs directly to Southsea, however the Hard interchange is a short walk away.
